MASHUP : The Birth of Modern Culture

The Vancouver Art Gallery is currently exhibiting this absolutely wonderful event that hosts 156 artists showcasing 371 artworks. All from 1912 to the present. And it's truly magical. My friends and I tried to conquer the hectic opening night but honestly, to truly appreciate the work that these artist's poured themselves into, you need to reserve a day for each floor (at the least).

I can't describe what it felt journeying through the exhibit. So here are some photos that, while doesn't do the whole exhibit justice, shows we had a fantastic time being there.

There is never a bad time to stop whatever your doing and jump on a bus to go to a bridge suspended in the forest, breath in some fresh oxygen that the trees work so hard to provide and just listen to the calming dancing of the branches.
